Here's what Emperor Ublaz wore while he instructed some Trident Rats in archery practice, all with the intent of shooting a certain fox dead: an umber silk robe bordered with silver filigree, and a dark green turban with silver fringes. I had to google the color "umber", which seems to be a burnt orange; as well as what filigree and fringes look like. I found a filigree pattern that I liked, but instead of drawing it, I just copy and pasted bits and parts of it all over the border. I also based the turban off a design I found on google images as well.

I like how the pre-made pattern plays with the cloth you drew yourself. Granted, the simplistic and more cartoony aesthetic of your work doesn't entail too much detail in the cloth, which might have made this look weird otherwise. But the appeal to me is that this particular technique makes me think of a number of old/traditional art styles from multiple cultures, in particular certain examples of Indian, Japanese, and Arabic art, as well as manuscript illuminations from Europe in the Middle Ages.
