A close friend of mine has had a series of stupid things happen to her over the course of the last few months. I'm... impressed she's taking the person's actions so well, in fact everybody involved, her magnanimity and forbearance awe me, considering I offered to stick their head on a pike the instant I learned what had gone down.

Since that instant was late, I feel I owe her a little something, since I wasn't able to console her at FE. We talked! But she was busy and I was sick and we never ran into each other outside the dealers den. It's nice to catch up with friends, but sometimes you both acknowledge something isn't the right time.

But this is what friends are for is helping sharpen your claws. Whether you use them... that's on you.
