i absolutely adore the look of characters with huge upper bodies and little legs
but realistic proportions should def still come into play, and it can totally change how things look too
best rule of thumb is where the joints of the arm/wrist line up with the trunk! (highlighted this in that puush link there)

overall though, i really love his design, especially the salt & pepper look he has in his fur ♥
