This is the first time for me with Ruki. I've seen dark themes before but not from Ruki. I'm not a fan of dark natured sad stuff. If one of those kits dies in the next page it's gonna be too heartbreaking.
I'll still be a fan of Ruki's work but not the rest of the comic if it comes to that.

I like the smart one, she at least listens.
Looking at the pictures though, logically, the black one will be snared.
Firstly because it's oddly colored, which in nature's cycle, draws attention.
Secondly, it didn't fall into the snow and is fully in the open, leaving it vulnerable and easy prey.
Thirdly, it's loud and drawing the most attention to itself.
Fourthly, it is not likely to be rescued by its mother because she's not been gone too long, therefore, she'd still be on her way away from the lair. Even if the mother did manage to return, she can only carry one kit at a time.

Unfortunately, I've become all too familiar with the tragic life cycle of kits to predators. In my writings, one has bitten the dust by just falling into an active Megilo tunnel. Another one couldn't resist that all-so pretty flower...that happens to feed on meat. The giant felines that will gladly take out the easiest to catch of the group. Not sure if that dark place where the voices cry out for company is going to claim a few. (That one is evolving too much like 'It'.) Even from the other day, when one kit just had to keep on sniffing away at that odd cave mushroom's spores. Sometimes, life just isn't easy.
Because the comic was discontinued.
It served to educate people about all the things humans do to foxes. The research for it was very traumatic in the long run. Almost all of the characters would have died, and I wasn't in a particularly good mental state at the time. So I discontinued it and won't be showing it. The truth isn't pretty.

well you must have putted it in private since it said in the weasyl that "You cannot view this page because the owner does not allow guests to view their profile." and also yeah it used to be in deviantart but you had to delete your comics pages and other arts you had in there because you were leaving deviantart and the ai was taking your art without permissions, and that's a shame though because i really liked looking at your arts at deviantart. but yeah i guess i won't be able to revisit that comic ever again but thank you for the answers and i hope that you will be doing alright.
yeah and i won't be able to revisit the comic ever again since your comic can be only viewed in patreon and it costs money to view your stuff in there which i don't have unfortunately. but yeah like i said, thank you for answering the things that i wanted to ask and i hope you will be doing alright.
