OLD MAN TALBOT.
This is Talbot as he appears in the second season of Wolfriders of Malvia, 5 years after his original appearance.
In terms of appearance changes, it's mildly interesting since I designed Talbot's original wardrobe to not be too obviously "magic-user", while after the timeskip apparently he decided to be very clearly the "magic-user". Kept that hat I said he kept, while also adding a fancier coat and shirt. He also apparently grew his jaw/chin fur out to give himself a beard (because wizard), which has led to a lot of jokes about him being an old man despite only being 30.
Personality-wise and history-wise, he's more or less at his core the same dumb goofy happy dog type, but after the end of the first season and the interim 5 years, he's a lot more prone to serious or gloomy moods. Talbot is essentially an archmage at this point, well-known and respected all over the world for his deeds and abilities, but with that comes burdens of anxiety and depression. Being so "intelligent", he feels he HAS to know what to do and how to solve everything, and if he can't or doesn't, he feels he's failing everyone and letting them all down. Combine that with his failures to enter a certain tower that became sealed at the end of the first season and with his complicated relationship with a certain gryphon, and Talbot is a lot less happy-go-lucky than he used to be.
Poor puppy.
