behold.......the world of Aesop. named after its creator deity, God King Aesop. with his 30 Elemental Plates he created reality itself.
major Locations
Obelisk Ark- A giant golden satelite that orbits the moon. Obelisks are mass produced and deployed from aboard. Aesop’s body is hibernating in ark and guarded. Ark is secretly a doomsday weapon to blow up planet if Sin proved unstoppable. the Ark also has artificial biomes for preserving species. in battle mode the gold sphere opens, becoming a gigantic robo seraph with floating hands.
Grand Shield- an obelisk fortress wall that surrounds the Black Hole, keeping giant Shade at bay from polluting sea
The Black Hole- a giant Shade Pool that goes straight to the planets core and Sin’s prison
Solaris- city of the sun. much like venice Italy, lots of gondola canals. most residents are followers of the Sun Transcendent Solara, the nine tailed priestess.
Necrosia- subterranean city.
Stargazer Academy- School for mages. famous planetarium
Hunters Guild- mercenary/bounty hunting criminals and Shade.
Cornacopia- farming city with fruit bearing soil that regrow in hours
Depthia- bottom of ocean city.
Floating continent of Mugen- stays afloat thanks to Psychic Time and Moon temple’s magic.
Mythril Mountain- mining town of mythril ore
Mount Oracle- mountain of orichalcum ore. used for obelisk construction
Crimson Town- built at base of mount Crimson volcano.
Oko Oko Island heads- ancient statues of the gods
Tower of Love- tower with bowed structure shaping it like a heart. super fancy expensive hotel and casino for loved ones
D’resch- Desert continent. arabian/egyptian like architecture and culture.
Jakoro- southern savannah and tropical continent.
Sharo- ice cap. very harsh winters
Permafrost Field- frozen tundra of never melting ice. -100 degree winters. Ice Temple located here.
Gaia- west continent. more like america
Shin- east continent. more like asia
Mirror Canyon- canyon with reflective chrome crystal formations. easy to get lost. many bandits use the disorienting terrain to their advantage. Crystal Temple here
Bogura Bayou-bayou village in Jakoro. Cajun style.
Violet Swamp- poisonous swamp. lots of Shade
Lake Kiamora- fresh water lake.
Mutos Settlement- village for refugees and outcasts. Sinners secretly have a base here in a potion shop
Mount Kiamora- rocky mountains full of caves and tunnels. many cave dwelling races live here. mountain peak has Stone Temple
Wild Colluseum- sports stadium
Mechai city- techno marvel metropolis. Metal Temple acts as factory
Botanica- forest city
Leviathan Islands- beach chain of 5 islands with rich sealife and gigantic sea monsters
Bambula- eastern town famous for bamboo forests and hotsprings
the Junklands- Mechai’s junkyard and testing ground. used to be a jungle before deforestation and pollution. no wildlife or clean water. poorer mechai folk scavange slum
Mystic Forest- forest surrounding Great Tree. Many forest tribes reside here.

Gambol’s Casino- a hotel casino in Mugen. ran by Sinner Gambolelemental Temples
Aesops Plates- coffin shaped slates that hold Sin’s seal and contain a fraction of Aesops essence. if you can actually get through temple defense traps one can pull the plate from its altar. you can then stab its pointed end into your body, binding your soul to it and gaining godly control over its element. pulling a plate floods the area with Shade. Obelisks will hunt down plate thieves till death. Plate users gain element symbol where plate entered body and can call forth plate as phantom weapon.
Temple of Life- has fountain of youth. many come for healing
Temple of the Dead- Ghost Plate’s magic makes spiritual plane physical. filled with Undead
Spirit Temple- connects to Ark
Fire Temple- hidden inside an active volcano.
Fire Plate’s removal causes the volcano to flow with Shade
Water Temple- located in a great fresh water lake connecting all rivers in Jakoro and Gaia.
Ocean Temple- bottom of ocean. magic can turn one into an aquatic centari or feral form.
Isle of the Storm- Wind plate generates a never ending hurricane around the temple
Arctic Temple- Ice Plate makes temple -100 degrees. even Ice tribes cant take its cold for long without magical protection.
Thunder Temple- architecture constantly surging with electricity. requires non conductive gear to navigate. temples excess energy is harvested for powersource
Stone Temple- top of mountain. many boulder traps. can cause petrification into statue
Crystal Temple- magic from plate can encase one in crystal stasis. unique crystal traps refract and reflect magic.
Metal Temple- heart of mechai industry zone. bottom half used as metallurgy forge and factory. top half guarded by Obelisks. magnetic puzzles and liquid metal traps.
Sand Temple- tomb of the pharaohs. pyramid design. secretly holds back gigantic Shade called the Sand Grinder.
Great Tree- forest temple living plant. also called Yggdrasil. worshipped by many as Aesop’s first plant
Swamp Temple- filled with deadly miasma and acid traps. requires fullbody hazmat suits to navigate
Temple of Illusions- induces hallucinations that warp architecture. traps both real and fake.
Temple of Souls- grim reapers home. gateway to afterlife. Only exists in spiritual plane. physical during fall solstice
Shrouded Temple- temple of shadows. shrouded in pitch black darkness. must rely on other sensory means to navigate
Sun Temple- also called Temple of Light. sun dial puzzles. temple locks down at sundown.
Moon Temple- only opens at night. altered gravity within
Clockwork Tower- acts as global time reference. flow of time alters within. many timed traps
Sound Temple- also called temple of song. musical traps. temple echoes at slightest sound.
Fairy Temple- also called the Shrinking Shrine. built for tiny races. requires shrinking for other races to enter.

Fall Solstice Festival- also called Harvest Eve. harvest crops for winter, big harvest dinner feast. celebrates and honors the deceased. Harvest Moon gives spiritual plane more tangible form, meaning more ghosts and supernatural events occur. many seek time to commune or seek vengence. necromancy skyrockets. festival decorations like halloween. costume parties.
Winter Solstice Festival- shortest daylight of year. celebrates bonds and endurance. common folk hunker down for family or communal parties, exchange gifts. decorations like christmas.
Night of the Blue Moon empowers the natural elements, which can bring harsh weather.
Spring Solstice Festival- celebrates life birth love and fertility. farmers plant seeds, loved ones give romantic gifts, they hide pouches of coins and small goodies or even magic crystals (like materia balls) instead of eggs. decorate with flowers and hearts
Tournament of Champions- world tournament held to determine world records in many different categories. winners awarded a trophy of golden orichalcum, the same material as obelisk armor.
Day of Sin- anniversary of Sins creation and mourning of Aesops sacrifice. Night of the Red Moon. Chaos, Blood , and Shadow Magic empowered. most batten down the hatches and confess wrongdoings or go out Shade hunting. extra powerful Black Obelisks who use darker magical power source are deployed to purify Shade
Races
Transcendent- Angelic immortals worshipped like gods as children of Aesop. few remaining after Sin’s War. they resemble other species but with angel wings, silver or gold hair/body color, and kinesis over 1 element.
Obelisks- holy magical atomatons created to serve the Transcendent but were repurposed to combat Sin and hunt the Shade. They also guard the Aesop Temples. have runes for faces and are classed like chess pieces. Pawns are basic multipurpose robots. Knights are centauric Shade hunters. Bishops are spellcaster units. Rooks are heavily armed vehicle units and have strong defense. Queens are most powerful unit that has best qualities of other Obelisks and act as squad units and defend Ark. King is the leader AI and is sentient. he also protects Aesop’s body. The Ark is the obelisks orbitting Deathstar factory and Aesops resting place. also has battle form and last resort doomsday self destruct
The Shade- monsters of the world that spawn from pools of chaos magic that erupt underground like tar pits. Shades mutate and grow depending on what they feed on. Shades killed by Obelisks evaporate instantly, otherwise they melt into inert slime first. anyone who drinks inert Shade slime gains chaos magic but turns blood and eyes black and taints soul. Sinners will eventually mutate into more powerful Shade monsters. common shared traits of shade are black slime, extra limbs, and an eyeball core. (much like grimm)
Humans- typical fantasy humans. found all over. respected for adaptability.
Gaian- medieval english like human tribe. hail from west Gaia continent.
D’reschian-humans from the desert continent D’resch. arabian and egyptian like culture.
Shin- humans from the eastern continent Shin. asian culture.
Sharo- humans from northern arctic ice cap. occasionally mistaken for dwarves. sound german
Mugian- from southwest floating continent Mu. latin accent.
Jakoron- savannah continent Jakoro. humans have dark skin and hair. closest humans to nature.
Elves- resemble humans with pointy ears and more vibrant body colors. great magical prowess. live 200 years. british accent
Orcs- big humanoid race with pointy ears, tusks, and thick skin. prefers harsher climates for natural barriers and promote strength.
Yeti- also called Sasquatch and bugbears. resemble humanoids with fur.
Gnoll- Hyena-like savages. very aggressive. hunt other races for food. often unclean and filthy homes
Fairies- magical race resemble elves with extra long pointy ears, single colored sparkly eyes, and glowing wings. can shrink to size of butterfly. live for 1000 years
Golems- sentient stone creatures with souls unlike the Obelisks. Golems have organic flesh beneathe their rocky carapace. frost tribe has icy carapace.
Draconian- magical mostly winged reptilian people. famous for magic breath. eastern dragons more serpentine physique
Reptilians- lizardmen. they highly respect and even worship dragon-kind. swamp crocodilian tribe.
Saurian- dino folk. Herbivore clans and Carnivore clans. some believe the saurians predate dragonkind
Bronchio clan- huge long necked vegan saurian clan. tallest scaley race. water tribe has fins and flippers
Miadon clan- duck billed dinos with long crested heads. crests can recieve magical signals

Genie- also called Djinn. humanoid desert dwelling race. have multiple arms, red orange hair bronze skin. similar to zelda gerudo. mostly female
Borbaga- pig and boar like people. very fat. best culinary palette. often hunted by more savage races.

Salamph- amphibian-like race. cant tolerate salt water

Larunians- bug folk. resemble ants/moths population is 99% male. females resemble butterflies and are egg laying royalty. spider clan hated by many after Queen Bola turned Sinner.
Stagules- Beetle tribe. hard armor, proud of horns and mandibles. most too heavy for flight
Mantiskian- Mantis tribe. very tall. have back blade arms that can act as wings with proper magics. very devote.
Basalich- worm-like tribe of insectoid. subterranean and blind, rely on seismic sensory. centipede tribe have most limbs of any race
Skorpo- scorpion tribe. long stinger tails
Bolians- spider folk who betrayed the Insectoid kingdom after queen bola turned sinner, tainting her eggs evil. some older generation spiders that didnt become sinners ran away in hopes of reforming the tribe
Vespians- Hornet/Bee insectoid tribe. create honey rather than silk. most aggressive insectoids to outsiders.
Shlosha- sloth like race. symbiosis with plantlife. very lethargic. fantastic agriculturists
Treeants- leafy tree people. they can communicate with nature and dislike many other tech races for their destruction of ecosystems. females resemble flowers
Fungshwai- mushroom fungus tribe of plantoid. desert Fung resemble cacti
Rhoni- Rhino folk. leathery skin. savannah people. think races without horns look funny.
Oni- eastern orcish folk. have more tusk teeth, forehead horns. little concern of other races. teeth are so large they often cant close their mouths fully
Naga- reptilian snake tribe. long necks, fangs, speak with lisssssp
Gorgons- humanoid race with 4 arms and snake lower bodies. females have snake hair, males have cobra hoods. Infamous for petrifying magic
Trolls- tall skinny humanoids with fangs, big pointy noses and ears, mohawk hair, rubbery skin. prefer swamps and jungles. voodoo culture
Goblins- shortest orcish race. pointy noses, greenish skin, money grubbers, can be untrustworthy schemers. hobgoblins have small horns.
Imps- resemble goblins but have fur and tails. mischievious and spiteful pranksters. often speak in rhyme and riddle.
Swall- seal/walrus folk of the tundras. very blubbery. fight with Polar Ursan over limited tundra resources.
Ogres- very fat humanoid race. dim witted, may have multiple heads, single horn, and cyclops eye
Giants- 20 foot tall demi-human race. view some races as food. often fight other humanoids
Daemons- Transcendents of Hell who govern darker elements and punish damned souls. have glowing horns, black wings.
Dwarves- stocky human-like race. viking culture. extremely proud of beards. love gold and jewels
Hobbits- also called halflings. prefer simple life as farmers. curly hair, have hairy feet with thick soles so rarely require shoes
Gnomes- shortest elf-like race. 1-2 feet tall, pointy ears, big facial features. clever and inventive in both magic and tech
Xenoloids- live on the moon. resemble classic grey aliens. only 3 feet tall. curious nature. cant breathe outside moons atmosphere. wear space helmets to breathe on planet Aesop.
Mutos- mixes of species. cross breeds.
Vampire Blood Tribes- those who use blood magic. users gain siphoning fangs and use their own blood as magical weapons. they must refill their own blood supply periodically to survive. those that refuse to kill others for blood either turn to hunting wild creatures or drinking Blood Tomatos which contains the necessary nutrients as blood and various potions for magic. sunlight burns skin like a rash, so those out in day wear full body clothes like hoods or robes.
Lunari Moon Tribes- nocturnal variants of races who worship the moon and stars. magic grows and weakens with lunar phases and cycles. eyes often sensitive to bright light

major Locations
Obelisk Ark- A giant golden satelite that orbits the moon. Obelisks are mass produced and deployed from aboard. Aesop’s body is hibernating in ark and guarded. Ark is secretly a doomsday weapon to blow up planet if Sin proved unstoppable. the Ark also has artificial biomes for preserving species. in battle mode the gold sphere opens, becoming a gigantic robo seraph with floating hands.
Grand Shield- an obelisk fortress wall that surrounds the Black Hole, keeping giant Shade at bay from polluting sea
The Black Hole- a giant Shade Pool that goes straight to the planets core and Sin’s prison

Aesops Plates- coffin shaped slates that hold Sin’s seal and contain a fraction of Aesops essence. if you can actually get through temple defense traps one can pull the plate from its altar. you can then stab its pointed end into your body, binding your soul to it and gaining godly control over its element. pulling a plate floods the area with Shade. Obelisks will hunt down plate thieves till death. Plate users gain element symbol where plate entered body and can call forth plate as phantom weapon.
Temple of Life- has fountain of youth. many come for healing
Temple of the Dead- Ghost Plate’s magic makes spiritual plane physical. filled with Undead
Spirit Temple- connects to Ark
Fire Temple- hidden inside an active volcano.
Fire Plate’s removal causes the volcano to flow with Shade
Water Temple- located in a great fresh water lake connecting all rivers in Jakoro and Gaia.
Ocean Temple- bottom of ocean. magic can turn one into an aquatic centari or feral form.
Isle of the Storm- Wind plate generates a never ending hurricane around the temple
Arctic Temple- Ice Plate makes temple -100 degrees. even Ice tribes cant take its cold for long without magical protection.
Thunder Temple- architecture constantly surging with electricity. requires non conductive gear to navigate. temples excess energy is harvested for powersource
Stone Temple- top of mountain. many boulder traps. can cause petrification into statue
Crystal Temple- magic from plate can encase one in crystal stasis. unique crystal traps refract and reflect magic.
Metal Temple- heart of mechai industry zone. bottom half used as metallurgy forge and factory. top half guarded by Obelisks. magnetic puzzles and liquid metal traps.

Races
Transcendent- Angelic immortals worshipped like gods as children of Aesop. few remaining after Sin’s War. they resemble other species but with angel wings, silver or gold hair/body color, and kinesis over 1 element.
Obelisks- holy magical atomatons created to serve the Transcendent but were repurposed to combat Sin and hunt the Shade. They also guard the Aesop Temples. have runes for faces and are classed like chess pieces. Pawns are basic multipurpose robots. Knights are centauric Shade hunters. Bishops are spellcaster units. Rooks are heavily armed vehicle units and have strong defense. Queens are most powerful unit that has best qualities of other Obelisks and act as squad units and defend Ark. King is the leader AI and is sentient. he also protects Aesop’s body. The Ark is the obelisks orbitting Deathstar factory and Aesops resting place. also has battle form and last resort doomsday self destruct
The Shade- monsters of the world that spawn from pools of chaos magic that erupt underground like tar pits. Shades mutate and grow depending on what they feed on. Shades killed by Obelisks evaporate instantly, otherwise they melt into inert slime first. anyone who drinks inert Shade slime gains chaos magic but turns blood and eyes black and taints soul. Sinners will eventually mutate into more powerful Shade monsters. common shared traits of shade are black slime, extra limbs, and an eyeball core. (much like grimm)

Gaian- medieval english like human tribe. hail from west Gaia continent.

Vampire Blood Tribes- those who use blood magic. users gain siphoning fangs and use their own blood as magical weapons. they must refill their own blood supply periodically to survive. those that refuse to kill others for blood either turn to hunting wild creatures or drinking Blood Tomatos which contains the necessary nutrients as blood and various potions for magic. sunlight burns skin like a rash, so those out in day wear full body clothes like hoods or robes.
