Five Nights at Freddy's Art Gallery Part 1 (2014)
OKAY, I guess this is how I'm doing this. Here is all the FNAF fanart and animated GIFs that I made during 2014, compiled together in a big flash gallery thing. I just used an old FH flash comic with navigation buttons as a base to cobble this together. It's not amazing or fancy or anything, but it's preferable to uploading all of these one by one, certainly.
Alright, so, to open I guess, I can't really say I was super into the FNAF "fandom" by any means, but I did end up getting into a group for it in 2014 and producing a ridiculous amount of art for it for fun, mostly really quick and small stuff like reaction images or quick GIFs or something. The interesting thing about it was less the games themselves and more how one could take these blank characters and pretty much do anything you want with them and make them entirely your own, which a lot of people did. My iterations of the characters certainly evolved over the years, especially a certain fox robot.
So in this gallery is all the 2014 stuff I did, so that's from the start around a month after FNAF1 came out to the end of the year, about a month after FNAF2 released. I'm not gonna go in-depth on explaining any of these individual images really cause there's like 80 of them just in this one archive so eh. I will say a couple of things about some of it, though.
At the start I thought I was going to really be drawing Bonnie and Mike as my main focus before I figured out how I was going to portray anybody, but eventually my Foxy just turned out to be the most popular and most fun, so he became my main instead. There's a fair amount of Metal Gear references because I imagined Mike as a combo of Otacon and the weeb security guard from MGR. The "Kite Kaboodle" picture is a pretty funny story about another artist getting talked at by a 10 year old in a waiting room and the 10yo basically inventing a FNAF OC for the artist to draw while we all got live updates about it on Skype. There's also some stuff drawn right when teasers for FNAF2 were coming out, so if Toy Bonnie or Puppet look weird, we didn't have clear pictures yet. And eventually it just devolves into Foxy reaction images, which will be a lot more common going on.
If you want more details or the images individually, look here: http://quetzadrake.tumblr.com/tagged/fnaf/chrono All this 'fandom' kind of stuff has been posted on there for a long time, I just never uploaded the stuff anywhere else until now.
