My friend
Deteno told me about a dream she had the other night, where she fell in the ocean and was picked up by an exceptionally cuddly eel mermaid. The eel girl swallowed her, but made sure not to hurt her and was a very attentive host, fussing over her after she was inside her belly, making sure she was in a comfortable position.
This is my first drawing done with Krita. I've been wanting to try it for a while now, but whenever I tried to open it up and use it, I couldn't figure out where to start or how to make it jive with my art style. This time I worked things out, and I was fairly pleased with the results! I will probably use it again in the future.

Snug, but comfortable! She makes sure of it!
I think it's a little too early to say for sure. There are a lot of features of Clip Studio that I really like and I don't know that I'm willing to give up. But I found the pen tools more intuitive than I thought I would after I figured out the right one to use, and I like the watercolor brush much better than Clip Studio's watercolor brush. I also think the Warp tool may come in handy in the future. Overall, I'm finding it quite nice and definitely interested in continuing to experiment with it!

I've never tried Clip Studio and just swapped over from Gimp myself, mostly because Krita has stuff for animating. It definitely has a cleaner layout but I seem to spend a lot of time searching through the menus for things that were always visible in Gimp. Still, it does have a lot of very nice features and I'm finding it really pleasant to use so far.
Probably not that well from what I've read. Animation seems to be a fairly new feature that they haven't quite finished fleshing out yet. It does have pretty much everything that I was looking for but that was mostly just the ability to play the animation without having to export it first.
