Kit cars aren't like the "Real" antiques. Some of these cars are on Porsche or VW bodies.

When you've been around collectors like I've been since I was a kid... Well, I'm spoiled I guess.

The only thing worse than a knock-off is a "Trailer Queen."

"Trailer Queen's" are antiques fully restored to better than factory spec's and NEVER driven; people just hall them around from show to show in a trailer. The owners end up getting all the trophies and original-originals fight harder for the same.

Okay... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to get preachy...

I'm just one of these guy's who's just picky. In the end, I suppose if someone likes a "kit" car, that's fine. I just don't care for them

yeah i totaly agree with the "Trailer Queen" i will in no way ever have one as for the kit cars this is true but its still nice to say that you built it.

And i agree with the whole "kit" part they look nice but arnt me i need the real deal

i HATE trailer queens also..unless its a race car and CANT be driven or you got too many cars to drive...like i wanna build a nice old chevy truck and a nice chevelle but i can only drive one to the show but wanna take both :P

Get in touch with your local Chevy club. Someone might be able to help in locating parts or even an entire vehicle; That's how my Dad found his 1940 Chevy Business Sedan.

well i am gonna wait till im on the east with my mate, and he has been around the car industry for a long time so he will know where to get parts. chevy truck parts are almost a dime a dozen for the year i want. and chevelle parts can be re manufactured. thanks tho
