Flawed Crystal 03

(1988) ink on bristol. Kyim Granger wrote the short stories Priceless Pearl and Flawed Crystal in Furversion and later asked me to draw some illustrations for them. These were intended for print and were inked with fine line markers. I experimented with self-adhesive tone screens, getting nice results in three of the pictures and less attractive results in two others.
