Not HIDs?

HIDs save power, and weight, and they're brighter.

I haven't found a good kit that will work in an H4 housing yet.

I'll see if I can find out what brand mine are for you. I used to use something pisstakingly powerful, I think my old H4 halogens were 220/260, weapons grade lighting, for endurance racing. But I've gone HID (white, not blue) now, and now the lights are almost as bright, but much more effective, much more daylighty, and easier to drive with for hours at a time. It also means I can have my headlamp wipers back. The old lights got so hot you could literally fry an egg on them, and they melted the rubber and plastic.

What size wire was used on those bulbs?? My 100 watt standard filament bulb evaporated water droplets; I was using 14gauge about 1.6mm thick.

HIDs are about an ounce lighter per-pair than standard bulbs.

Did you car have HID lights to begin with or did you convert? Ballast weigh more than an ounce.

I seldom think that wattage rating is bullshit unless you have more power flowing to the bulbs. My 90/130s have the same exact innards and were no brighter than the 80/90s I once had, even with the proper harness, so I got a cheapie HID kit on eBay :D man, talk about difference O.O XD
