Remember when I said Talbot was basically a giant samoyed? Well, for a short time, he was one.
Later on in the first campaign that Talbot was part of, the party had to infiltrate another country that was hostile towards the country they were from (the name of which was in their mercenary group's name, so). They decided to enter the country in total disguise.
Talbot disguised himself as a samoyed wizard named DeKelley, acting as an attendant to another of the party acting as a noble from yet another country. The name DeKelley is a continuation of Talbot's regular name, which I guess I forgot to mention in his first picture's description. "Talbot" is a simultaneous reference to Larry Talbot, the Wolfman, and Edward Talbot, an occultist/alchemist who worked with John Dee and Queen Elizabeth I. "DeKelley" is a play off of that second reference, as it's a combination of Dee and Kelley (Edward Talbot's actual last name), with a touch of Forrest DeKelley (that guy who played "Bones" McCoy, you know).
As DeKelley, Talbot acted more prim and proper, like you'd expect maybe a butler or attendant to an aristocrat might act. For wardrobe design, I'd completely forgotten what the direct inspirations were after all this time (only remembered that I knew there were direct inspirations), but thankfully I could go back and look it up, and apparently what I used was a combination of Xehnon from Valkyrie Profile and the military uniforms from Valkyria Chronicles. The green color scheme is because the country his fake identity hailed from had green as their national color. The hat's because the Hat of Disguise is what was keeping his disguise up (also, you know, wizard).
The drawing itself is pretty messy even for the time due to it being pretty rushed (I think I was finishing it right as the session it was needed for was starting), but I generally like the design alright, even if DeKelley never appeared again once they had left that country. Talbot did end up adopting the hat he first wore with this disguise permanently, though, although changing the color to blue to match his regular outfit's color scheme.
