If you didn't read the journal, I'm uploading one old piece of art by me and one old piece of art for me every day for a while cause why not, fill out the gallery with more than just FH pages.
Maybe this is a boring one at face value to start on, and it's not even furry, but I think this is probably the earliest art not posted anywhere else so eh.
This is the first DnD character I had made in quite a long time for a 4e game I was in around 2013-2014 called Tales of Testria, a campaign DMed by Askir and played alongside SaltSCP and a couple other folks that I don't think have FA accounts but I'm not sure.
These two are "Johnny 5" and Punch, a Warforged bow-using Ranger with a peregrine falcon companion. He's named Johnny 5 because his origin was as a servant to some old hermit in the woods who never bothered to name him, and when the hermit died, Johnny just decided to walk in a direction until he hit civilization. Since he had no name, the idea was that you could call him whatever you liked, and joke robot nicknames were thrown around until Johnny 5 stuck. Punch is named that because I'm clever, get it.
Honestly there's a lot of history and adventures that Johnny 5 and Punch went on, too much to really list here. The party were originally going to be more pirate-themed than they ended up being, hence his outfit. The "peg-leg" he's sporting (actually a sword-leg in a sheath) was from a really emotional particular session where he lost his leg trying (and failing) to save another PC from permadeath (ironically caused by another new PC's "introduction", which seemed to spiral spectacularly to that unintentionally). Also has a Delver's light under his bandanna, and he didn't need to eat breathe or sleep, so he was pretty useful all around.
Johnny 5 was generally a very naive and gullible type, but really friendly and optimistic. He bumbled a lot, but he almost never really got really sad or angry about anything (except for the one time). Punch meanwhile was more of a... short fuse about things, more open to the naughtier type of behavior. Both were really impulsive; a lot of ridiculous things were done by these two on a whim that ended up nat 20s, like Punch successfully charming a humanoid man into falling in love with him and crushing a whole bunch of guys by pushing a boulder, or Johnny 5 successfully fooling royalty into thinking he was a Duke from some far off land.
That campaign was a bit of a mess but it was fun for the most part. A LOT of weird things happened (we fought evil Santa, we tamed purple worms, there was genderbending, time travel, dimension hopping, and so on), but these two were weird characters to go along with it. They're still pretty dear to my heart as my first characters in my relatively recent diving into tabletop. I've never quite had such an innocent and happy-go-lucky character since, I miss it to a degree.
That was a lot of words but I guess that makes sense concerning a tabletop character, and these two were hardly the only ones I've made.

Johnny Five and Punch were both awesome characters and I miss being in a game where their shenanigans could happen. Of all the games I've been in there was something about that party that gelled so well (less so after Sigyn died but still) and it was just a lot of great fun was had.
Never will we forget Melvin, who foolishly fell in love, and never will we forget the way the great bird god saved us with rocks from above.
Also I'm sad we never got to go into that second campaign so we could meet your skeleton bard ;;

That entire game was a glorious mess, but I was super glad to have you with Johnny 5 n' Punch for the ride! It means a lot that this is yer first upload of old art you've drawn, n' that you spoke so much about it here. Johnny 5 n' especially Punch provide some of my most vivid n' beloved memories of that game!
As Nick mentioned above me, it is a shame the second game didn't happen n' ya didn't get a chance to use Cyrus (if I recall the name correctly), yer skeleton-technically-lich bard to his fullest extent. I still have the "Skull Joke" pic ya drew of him too.
Hopefully we can return to that party-gellin', roleplayin' fun sometime soon--n' especially have it all take place on Testria once more!
