Her mother, in her 50s, is a prominent police officer in the city in which Jack lives, which you'd think would give her a leg up when it comes to not being a fool, but you'd be surprised.
An incident in her youth left Jack a high school dropout with a tendency for violence. Her battery charge comes from a time where her sister was slapped around by a girlfriend; Jack knocked the hell out of the girlfriend.
