Heh. All I really wanted to do was post up a montage of some of the vampire bat pics I've taken at zoos, because I really do love these little vampires; and I didn't want to upload 4 separate pics, if I could do it all in one. :)
But of course, once I saw how the 4 images looked together, I couldn't help but think of the old musical Sesame Street skit: "One of these things is not like the others", where the viewer had to decide which picture was not like the others. :)
If you have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm sure you can find an example on youtube somewhere.
Anyway, I had these vampire bat pics sitting around, and felt the need to post them up and share them with others here. Don't forget to check out the bat-loving group here on FA --

*smiles* Thanks. These were some of the better vampire bat pics I've been able to take. Being so small, and the area being so dark, it's difficult to get shots in focus. I'm glad that you like them and yeah, they are so adorable when they look like they're smiling. I can spend half the day at the zoo, just watching the bats. Unfortunately, the people I go with drag me away after about 15 minutes or so. *laughs*
Hopefully one of these days, you're able to get to see some bats up close and personal. They really are beautiful creatures. :)
