Water was perfectly still; sounds of dirtbike engines in the air.

Central WA has it's own charm for sure, the rural highways are very peaceful to travel. Always makes me think of rolling hills, dry, summery weather and windmills turning in the distance. I still hold a grudge against one small town I can't remember the name of there though because their state patrolman was a tit. :p
Ever been to my hometown, Ellensburg? Go ten miles in any direction, and you're getting a piece of everything Washington has to offer. Desert to the east and south, forests and mountains to the north and west, rivers to the east, northeast, and south, etc.,
As far as towns go, I love it. Not too busy or quiet, nice university in the middle, a fun canyon road to the south, off road trails and roads in every direction. Beautiful in every season. Though it can be lonely. People come and go through college.

You know, I think I have but I'm not 100% sure! I really wanna say I've seen that Davidson building somewhere but I can't remember! Been all over the state though, Walla Walla used to be our halfway point for going to visit my dear old grandmother, rest her soul. College towns are really something else, almost like their own little world. It fascinates me how strongly a town's life can come to revolve around education.
