After my last pony picture, i tried to draw another, and it was just the worst thing ever. So I needed to figure out a way to draw these ponies that's interesting, and not just a bad facsimile of the show. These are my flailing attempts to figure out a style that borrows (steals) liberally from other artists I admire.
Basically the focus is the squish. The squish is what i love about the pone. And the squishiest of the squish is the butt. And the least of the squish is the hoovsies. Also big mane and tail cus why not? Big and floofy is the best. Just ask Velvet from Them's Fightin' Herds.
