#March of War: 03
Arktic Polarfuchs the Fire Warrior Marksman. He's technically just a standard fire warrior, however the model he is based on was created during the Killteam expansion. As such four units were elected to be special units and I chose to make one a marksman unit and appropriated a markerlight as an enhanced scope. Once again with accurate markings based on the real model except for the placement of the paw mark. On the real model this unit has the breacher team helmet and shoulder guard (more for flare and to indicate its enhanced status) and the paw mark is on its helmet along with rabbit ear radio antenna.
I've always been partial to range and precision fire, rather than brute force or wild fire. So the Tau are a nice combination of both really. Having the ability to put lots of shots down range at ranges outclassing most other infantry weapons. And at a strength factor of 5 vs most toughness they are pretty likely to deal damage outmatching even space marine toughness. Their aim could really use some work...
