Just a little view of what Kyo was putting his nose into.
Figured it was a bit of a waist to have drawn this only to have it mostly covered anyway. So into the scraps folder it goes.

This is true :p human feet have some subtle variance but species is a bigger one...either way I guess it depends on Kyo's preference, if any? Otherwise it's nice to have the "fill in the blanks as you like" option XD
,,,now is it bad that I kinda wanna see this guy/gal/other(?) become an OC on their own?

There are a number of reasons...
It wouldn't leave the iconic paw pad print on the ground if it had one.
Top animators (Like those who worked on Zootopia) use a similar design and those people are far more qualified then me to design such things.
If it had a heel pad then surly it would also need a long pad running along the blade of the foot (the outer step) but no one ever seems to find that omission odd. If it has a heel then it should also have a outer step pad too!
It looks more animal like and distinctive against other paw type such as what mustelids have.
As upright creatures they would use there heel less for running in the same way a bare foot human would, thus the lack of grip is less of an issue (especially when you have claws to compensate).
It better matches my design on the hands for consistency.
And finally I like the look of this better as it seems more like a classic design.
