this is very beautifull... the background in particular looks very good... almost photographic quality... the critter in the foreground is very beautifully portrayed and textured too... it's tail is a bit smouth though...kinda conflicts with the feathery look of the rest of his body...
Also I'm a bit miffed at how the background is bathed in that redisch sunset color... but your foreground dosen't seem to have any redish influences what eo ever... or at least not enough... methinks if you had switched the color balance mor towards red in the foreground the picture would have looked moreu nitary. As is the foreground and backgrounds look a ibt too distinct... especially at the point where the vividly green grass meets with the redish lake...
The grass seems to be a bit too bright for the amount of light there is on the background... I would have expected the scene to be darker overall... and I'm a bit confused about the lightnig on the tree trunk.... for one it kind of looks too smouth... and like the grass it is kind of too bright for the amount of light present in the rest of the picture...
but this is all jsut nitpicking... I hope you don't mind... this is still an awesoem painting... so keep up the artwork...
