I was watching
Valsalia then
Tersethra 's picarto streams.
I have wanted a Yinglet for a while, and haven't had any decent ideas. A couple of the variants
Wat and
chochi have drawn are fantastic, but I didn't want to copy their ideas, and lord knows I can't come up with my own. So, in discussion with (edit)
alyeska, I threw my vague wants out, and was gifted the following description.
This fellow you see before you is a bit tallish for a yinglet, why hes allmost half a foot taller than most other yinglets! He is thin though, with a slightly shorter and more rounded muzzle than average. His tail, in spite of his maleness does have a little of a tailfloof, wich has been augmented with a fan of feathers, and fur extensions to nearly match that of a female. His fur is coloured in many shades of blue, lighter where its shorter, and darker where it is longer, faiding allmost into a deep purple in the fluff of fur that runs down his belly between his legs, and down the underside of his tail.
This fellow is dressed as well, a light blue skirt, trimed in silver, and a vest of slightly darker blue. Such is not his only ornimitation, as he has a few blue and silver ribons tied into his fur in clever locations. Atop his muzzle, he wears a pair of reading glasses, so alow him to better focus when he has a book infront of his face, a not uncommon thing for this male.
Drew a sketch of it, forgetting the clothing, colour, and books. There was an earlier suggestion of albinoism, which I may keep, and assume the hair is dyed. I'll make up my mind once I've thrown some colour at this. Not sure what his name is either, although I'm leaning very close to a variant on the Jokka name I have.

Sweet, I am glad you liked the description. Was kinda cool to come up with him, kinda a momant of insperation. Sometimes it just flows and I can ceate a wonder, painting words much as others paint in a visual media.
I was kinda thinking, his got a white undercoat, thats why his fur is darker in colour where the fur is longer, as the longer darker hair will cover the white underneath, or blend to create shades of blue. Silver decorations is mostly cause I find silver looks better with blue and white than copper or gold.

These are some good thoughts, I'll see if I can work them in.
I am still tempted to have him an albino, unless of course you'd rather keep that idea to play with. Mostly, want to see what colour combinations look right. I have this suspicion that silver, blue, white, and just a little bit of pink will look _really_ good.
White and gold is pretty neath though, so neat some secret societies named themselves after it. Copper, works better with browns and greens I think though.

Copper and gold both work better with earth tones and warm colours. Silver works better with the colder colours, like blues and grey. Or at lest iot does in my eyes. And I got no problems if you wanna do an albino fellow up, I was planing on a girl for my albino desc,
And to be fair, I have found that pink and blue can go togeather really rather well, and even more so if you ad white and silver to the mix. Its more complex, and takes more care with shading and such, as there are a lot of blues that will overshadow pink far too easily.

Sure!
Would you like to give Tabitha (the sorta-wemic) a shot?
I can see what I can do Yinglet-wise with whatever Alyeska comes up with for you, I've had some luck so far. I've run into Alyeska live on Tersethra's Picarto, which was very cool. Or if you had some ideas or things I should incorporate.

I've got a really rough 1 page comic floating around, I suppose I could upload it to scraps.

hm, sounds like a plan. you could charge for a concept that includes a background, for example. something universal like sci-fi, steampunk, or another popular theme as well as someone's personal headworld. provided they have something readadable written down. :)
who knows, some writers might want a side character or recurring one with more than a few words for description and motivation. :)
