Your eyes look so intense in this picture! I wish I could get an eye shadow tutorial from you

I've been thinking of making some shadow tutorials cuz people are always curious how I do my makeup. Since I'm not one to hoard techniques I'd be happy to make some I just always forget to take pics when I'm putting on makeup.

Something that always suprises people is that the makeup I use isn't that expensive with some exceptions, and I don't use any fancy or special makeup brushes just the tiny li'l ones that come with most eyeshadows.

Here's a nice cheap tip in the mean time. If you've ever had any eyeshadow that looks bright and vibrant but when you wear it it's either not as bright or fades really easy and you have to keep applying it I've found a solution to that.... A white eye liner pencil. take for example in this pic I have 3 colors (yellow, lime green and purple) that in the past I've had a hard time making them stay and not just fade but if you apply a good(doesn't have to be expensive) white eyeliner pencil to your eyelid and then put the bright colors one they just POP! And as an added bonus I've found that my makeup stays on much longer. This makeup in the pic I wore all day then worked an 8hr swingshift and my eyes were still bright in the morning, in fact I'm confident in saying that the majority of the makeup I do I could swim with in on and still will be fine.

I've always been reluctant to wear eyeshadow because of the "dull effect." I know a lot of friends that use white eye-liner, but I never thought it could be used to keep makeup. Thanks for the tips on how to make it pop, and stay like that.

No problem, just remember to get a white eyeliner pencil that goes on real smoothly so you aren't poking yourself in the eye trying to get it to show up( mine eye pencil I got at sally's beauty supply for like $1 something).

The green eyeshadow makes the contacts look like they're glowing! Very pretty.

Thank you! I've always wanted the wolf ones! It seemed like everytime I'd try to get wolf ones something went wrong or prevented me from getting them but these will do for now, I do love yellow eyes as I have an obsession with werewolves.

freaken awesome! i never knew they came with blue rings O.O thats so cool. Yeah, people do triple takes when i used to wear them. they make an ice effect, especially with zombie make up and blood coming from my mouth XD i cant wait till this Halloween! we get a zombie walk on October 10th in MO, i bet it will be fun!

Hee hee that's cool the only thing I don't like the joker plugs is the purple paint spatters can chip easily.

Yeah people love the white eyeliner tip, I guess it just dawned on me one day cuz do the same with black eyeliner when I wear dark and black shades.*Sighs*I work at Walmart tho I didn't wear the yellow contacts to work I wore some less noticable ones tho.
