The "Hapsburg Horror" (so named by  runeraion) was the first junkpile Mercedes I ever acquired (paid about $150 at an auction, if memory serves, in 1998). Anyhoo, this 1966 230S basketcase cluttered up the street in front of Chez Marmel for months, until I realized I wasn't gonna be able to get it roadworthy (way too much tinworm underneath) and sold it off.

For some reason or another (I think the discussion was slot cars), I decided it'd be amusing to 'Shop on a Plymouth Superbird nose and rear wing.

Believe it or not, at least one person saw the photograph and asked, "Is that a real car?"
