I had a completly different background in mind.. But that one was being very difficult.. and I like this one alot better.. I had so much trouble deciding on color for this one..x.x He had first been more orange, then I wanted something lighter, so I had made him more grey.. then I wanted a bit more color.. So in the end I decided to just splash color on it and see what suited my fancy.. I like how it turned out. For some reason I get a sad sense from him.. and all through coloring it I had this story in mind like he was the last of his kind of something..
On another note.. I dedicate this picture to my late dog, who has been gone for four years now. His anniversory was on august 10th..

It's...amazing, I adore the color concepts u have given this fox and it's amazing truley. I admire the outlines and details of the wings, including the design of the character itself. The hair is neat while the eyes are curved just right. The background is a limitation to beauty and I love the clothing fashion acceseries. Well done
Most welcome. I've been watching ya for some time and have just seen you get better and better with every piece of art you do. *nudges* Heheh...keep it up and, ya never know, ya might find yourself being invited as a Guest of Honor at a furcon someday. You'd deserve it, that's for sure.

Iv only just recently noticed that Iv gotten better since joining FA. Hehe, thank you for the kind words. ^^ I was invited a while back to do a book project of some kind.. But I declined because of deadlines.. Heh, now that would be something, but I doubt it. There are far better artists out there then me who deserve it more.
*Chuckles and shakes his head with a lick to your cheek.* Now, now...I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels you could be a Guest of Honor. You have your own style and I can promise you there are those aspiring furry artists who would love a panel with you about your technique and approach. Obviously not copy...hehe..but something to work from. Don't sell yourself short, hon. You're a damn fine artist and, as humble as you may like to look, you know you are. <3 I say submit artwork to conbooks, or poster submissions as FWA had been doing, even if you're not going to be there. The more you're published, the more likely you'll get far more recognition for your work as you do deserve.
Well I doubt any of the "famous" furry artists do what they do to become famous. They got their art out there and showed the fandom how much they love it and took pride in how well they'd become at drawing. *noses* You keep doing what you're doing but, if ya ever want to branch out and really show off your work, there are many outlets other than FA. That's all I'm saying. ^.^
