Blue Moon is the leader of a “pack” of rogue neutral Quartzes on Earth that had no particular loyalties to Homeworld or the Crystal Gems. Blue survived the corruption bomb only by the sheer luck of being poofed at the time it went off. A few corrupted members of her old pack have remained loyal to her, even if they aren’t sure why in their current states.
Blue is a gem of few words who can come off as intimidating to people who don’t know her, but she cares deeply for those she considers her own and would do just about anything to keep them safe.
