Needing some suggestions, comments, help, etc on the color theory of the piece and the shading/highlighting/textures. Not looking for critique, just looking for help / suggestions on how to improve this piece.

Super cute whale shork!!
Something about the perspective of the table with the fruit seems off, maybe its how the right leg is laid out and that its got a curved design, dunno, seems like that right side doesn't have a good vanishing point.
And especially if you want to do deeper feeling ocean themed, not going to have very much natural light, so going to want some harder light sources, probably your overhead. Just going to need some deeper shadows, a bit brighter highlights and some heavier shadows

Yeah I think the whole perspective of the area is just slightly off because one wall is at a different angle than the other wall so it was really hard to lay things out at the right angles and stuff. It was super annoying.
Maybe I can add some small like circular ceiling lights on those arches and that could be the primary light source.
