It was that time of the month again and he totally forgot. How could he forget? You think by now he would be able to just KNOW... but tonight he forgot.
Pulling his car over to the side of the road, he ducked down beside it, allowing the change to hit him as strong as it normally did. It was better not to fight it. Skin bristled into fur, bones and ligaments popped and shifted. The back of his pants pushed down as a tail tore out of the lower part of his spine.
"Great," he thought... "And how am I supposed to explain this one to my Mom. All I'm gonna hear is 'Why weren't you home in time?' 'Who saw you?' 'Expect to be grounded this time next month.'" He grumbled and got back in the car and slowly started driving home, muttering the whole way, more angry with himself about forgetting than anything....

this looks great. But don't worry, everyone who saw him was a furry like him right? So no harm was done and he doesn't need to be grounded. If it's necessary, I can arrange for him and friends to meet in a special interdimensional space. It gives you anything you could need or want, like the room of requirement from harry potter, except it also provides food.
