Excellently written, the characters are all likable and the world is well-realized, even in just those few pages. I'm not shy to admit the ending had moved me and the Sterling-esque monologue at the end capped it off nicely.

I liked Dali quite a bit in the short time I got to know her and, like what Grendelair said, she's likely with Terrance.

Oh I really enjoyed the story and the ending was a great twist of events by the way.

I was playing with ideas along the same vine but nothing wanted to jell

A lovely story; a fascinating choice of direction to bring a smile to the readers face - all done without the "obvious" choice being taken anywhere, and it's far more meaningful for it. As always, your work brings a spark of joy and wonder to my day; what a lovely way to end my week.
