Some ideas to modify one of my model kits of the Airwolf.
It is technically impossible for it to be able to reach such speeds as declared in the serie with his classic configuration, even with the help of its boosters. It would rapidly roll over and fall because the blade that would make the movement from the front to the rear would travel too slow to create any lift force. Besides, Airwolf (originally a Bell222) only got two blades on its rotor, and in a simple straight shape.
I am watching with attention the actual prototypes (like the Sikorsky X2), and though I still like the Bell222 shape (or the french Dauphin which is quite close but would be more believable of a classic design for high speeds with its fenestron and more profiled look), I would completely change at least its propulsion system for a double contrarotative rotor with specially bent blades, and then perhaps also its tail now freed of its anti-couple rotor.
