On the 23rd, while dog-sitting my computer fell off the couch. I've had her for a number of years and she's probably handled a fall or so before, but this one was the end of her.

The screen has actually gotten worse since this picture was taken, and the entire screen will be enveloped in white and bars sporadically. I'm probably going to borrow someone's Monitor or TV for a little bit to try and salvage my important files off of it when I get the chance. I have found a temporary solution that should allow me to continue to do commission work or otherwise, although I'm afraid I might have to restart commissions I had been working on.

Since this is a macbook, the ballpark estimate for a fix has been around 450$ in my area, so I'm going to be advertising some emergency commissions to get the funds together to have her fixed or get another more permanent computer, whatever the needs demands and however long my current solution holds up.
