Rakkis McKlangbang is a leopard seal of Glasgow who's a warehouseman and a semi-professional rugbyman (Rugby, NOT american football!).
Strong and fast, this scotman's quite successful at the latter, which makes him quite smug and snide (hence his expression), which don't endear him to other people.
But those who make an effort and frequent him enough find out that deep down, he's a nice guy and a loyal friend.
