How. the hell. have I NOT drawn Rouge in her Sonic Heroes outfit yet!? It's literally the first outfit I had ever seen her in. Having not played Sonic Adventure 2 yet, this was what I thought Rouge looked like for several years of my early childhood. In fact, I'll never forget the day I got stuck on one part of the carnival stage, because the robots that grab your teammates would keep grabbing Sonic and Knuckles, and Tails has no attacks to save them with if they're not in the party, and it never occurred to me that they can only grab the party member you're controlling, so you can just use Tails to hit them from a distance and cheese your way around it. I was a dumb kid. But the part I'll never forget is when I got so frustrated by this part that I just skipped ahead to play Team Dark's story, having not played any of the other stories at all since my original intention was to play each one all at once and each one in order. I was playing it on the PS2 in the living room where my mom's computer was, so she was right behind me, and as soon as I saw Rouge with her big boobs and low-cut skin-tight catsuit, I immediately skipped the cutscene and turned around in a cold sweat to make sure my mom didn't see that, fearing that I would get in trouble and that my mom would get the idea that Sonic is some kind of porn game and never let me play a Sonic game ever again. She didn't, but now that I'm older, I find the story incredibly funny. I'm more aware now that Rouge at her most provocative is still pretty tame and my mom really wouldn't have had a problem with it. She wouldn't have taken the game away from me, and I wouldn't have even gotten a slap on the wrist, the most I'd have heard about it is that "Ough!" sound Kelso makes in That 70s Show.
