SECTION LENGTH:
1 and 1/8 pages
It's always darkest before the dawn. Especially in the case of Finn the Resourceful.
Taking into account her little one's troubles, Mother Dragon has opted to read from an old tome in the hopes of showing her son other situations where one's difference played a factor in shaping and changing their lives. As the saying goes, history is a wonderful teacher and, with any luck, mind opening tales such as the legendary accomplishments of Finn the Resourceful, will help our little blue friend come to terms with who and what he is.

How very true. It's not too often that you ever come across an unhappy squirrel. Actually, I can't think of one that I know that isn't jovial to some degree at almost every encounter. :)
As for Finn, they don't call him resourceful for nothing. There's more to his tale than what his differences have made his family outcast him for. Actually, come to think of it, the fam may just come to regret not appreciating his truly amazing talents. *Smiles and nods*

Indeed. Finn's story does have a most interesting twist to it that definately shows how being different, despite how much it displeases those around you, can be a very good thing. Perhaps the family will even come to realize the error of their one-dimensioal way of thinking?
*cush-cush* I actually was nervous about stopping here. However, I couldn't help but experiment with a new technique / strategy that, with any luck, will make a lot more sense when I get to finishing Part 2 of Finn's story. *crosses fingers*
