This is a coloured ink drawing that draws its inspiration from Edward Hopper's famous painting "Nighthawks". It's such a distinctive painting, so shrouded in subtle emotion despite its simplicity, that I just had to do a tribute to it.
I am playing one of the patrons depicted in the café, shown leaving the establishment just after it closes. You can see the female patron and the soda jerker going their separate ways also.

Well, I seen the original Hopper version posted on the internet on Wikipedia as well as some other website where I cannot remember. However I haven't seen a physical copy or the like hanging in a frame on a wall somewhere. The art was very cool and had some atmosphere.
