Very nice, I love astrophotography, even non-scoped. Sometimes even more non-scoped. It appears you captured either a meteor or satellite as well :P

That would be a meteor. This was back during the Perseids meteor shower, hence the name. :)

Dazzling lights and crowded sounds of metropolitan earth abound. The strips of Vegas light up at night in an impressive display of showy brights and colour.

But when a moment is taken to recede into a place untouched by these things, were mother nature can turn your eyes and open up the sky above...you see that the idea of brilliant shows of sparkling light were conceived well before any human being ever thought of it, and none have ever been able to do it quite like the twilight sky has.

This picture is awe-inspiring. I only just now came to see it...and I am so glad I did. The only thing that match it would be to have been there to see it myself.
