Still playing around with my new software, and just finished this up late last night before passing out. I never did anything with Croc-o because, honestly, I wasn't too happy with the design I came up with last time and couldn't see it working too well for any images like this. So, I said 'screw it,' and came up with another design for the big lug that I was a little more content with.
The context of the image was after a funny back and forth between
NoctoNommer and myself some months back, where Croc-o puts Captain Boomerang on 'time out' in his infamous 'Croc Pit.' Maybe next time, Boomer will think twice before constantly calling Croc a 'gator. Or a walking purse. :P
Basically, the in-joke is that anytime Boomer annoys Croc, Croc retaliates by swallowing him whole. Joke's on Croc because Boomer tastes TERRIBLE...cheap beer and cheaper cologne, but hey, a meal's a meal, far as he's concerned.

Oh my god, I didn't expect to see this today, but I'm sure as hell glad I did. I friggin' love this!
I liked your previous drawing of Crockers, but this one is a HUGE improvement in my opinion. I can see some similarities between this and my own personal interpretation, but I love that you still managed to put your own spin on his design, with the ear-holes, rougher scales, greener color scheme, and a more humanoid jaw structure. Not to mention that your anatomy and poses are really improving.
And of course, it's good to finally see your version of Waylon Jones with a belly on him, especially when it's full of a squirming, angry Aussie. XD Said belly is pretty much the perfect size too, and that satisfied, toothy smirk on Croc's face really completes the whole image. Boomer REALLY needs to learn to keep his mouth shut, if he wants to avoid becoming Croc pudge next time around...
Awesome work, as always!

Haha, thanks so much! I'm glad you liked this as much as ya did! ^^
I've always really loved your take on Croc-o as one of my all time favorites just because not only has it steadily just been a perfect image of the guy, but it also manages to be the most expressive version of him I've seen! Initially I didn't have the chin spikes, but to me, his jaw looked too bare, and I loved that look on your version, so here we are. 'XD
And I really appreciate the kind words! It's still a struggle, but I'm glad things seem to be shaping up a lot better than they've been in the past! :)
And of course, I'm glad the 'Stuffed Croc Pit' is to your liking too. I think that's around my favorite 'belly size' as well. :P
Aaaaand yeah, Boomer REALLY needs to learn to keep his mouth shut. Buuuut some guys just loooove learnin' the hard way, right?
Thanks again!
