The Mari Phalu, is a large draconic animal with armored back and soft underside.
It have insect like features like long antennae and multiple small compound eyes.
It is an ambush predator, hiding wherever it thinks its possible and remains completely still. Sometimes right out in the open, then strikes as other animals may think its dead.

It is a good climber and can dash surprisingly quick.
It is not a powerful creature though, thus mainly prey on smaller creatures(humans beeing the perfect size!).
Its mouth is filled with sharp teeth, some pointing sideways and backwards. What it bites into is not likely to get away.

Female are larger than the males and the males are a bit thinner in build and more active.
Females like most animals grow big bellies when pregnant, often it touches the ground when walking.
They keep to small area in this period and will try to bite at anything that passes by in order to feed herself and her unborn.
She may loose alot of weight in this 10 month period.
It is an live birth with 2-5 little ones.
She will protect them for 3 months though they have to hunt and feed for themselves.

They are somewhat trainable, though one have to begin while it is still a little baby.
