A rough phylogeny of avians from Runaway to the Stars. Honestly I think they hit peak during the filaments-but-no-ears period but that’s just my opinion… Also, the “beak“ on avians is actually two rodent-like central incisors with no lips around them. Structurally it’s closer to tusks than the keratin-coated bill of an Earth bird.
