Here are a couple of concepts of Hanna Barbera's gentleman wolf "Loopy De Loop." I wanted to see what he would like in a different style. I always thought he was an interesting character. He always tried to do the right thing even though he was always given a hard time and had a lot of bad luck. Plus he has a French-Canadian accent. More to come. Done with some reference.

It is, and surprising since these were mostly shorts and didn't really need a connecting story. The writers had a remarkably worked-out plan for the guy. (Even down to minor characters, the sheepdog who opposes him when a chick adopts him is later seen thinking he's a good guy when a wolfess tries to get him to steal sheep for example.) If only all franchises were treated with such care.
