I take no blame for this. But one day, while dumping the waste from our Nerve Loob production in the usual ravine, we came across something spectacular terrifying. Whilst dumping the unsellables and such, what stirred in the muck was a beast of majestic proportions. T'was this huuuuuge Tangrowth, a monster among monsters! Overgrown even by Tangrowth standards, like with no less than twice the writhing foliage of a normal one. He seemed utterly crazed upon the sight of the waste disposal crew, and went right for them! Unfortunately he caught one of the smaller ones on the crew. As the law of the jungle goes, you need not be the fastest, so long as you're not the slowest. The poor Totodile though, he's already stupidly ticklish enough from the mandatory employee testing. The Tangrowth seems utterly obsessed with tickle torture, and just keeps chanting the name "Alan" over and over again. Not sure we employ anyone by that name, but then again I don't keep track. According to a Dex app, the Tangrowth's moveset consists of Tickle, Bind, Worry Seed, and Ingrain. That sure is a convenient setup. Almost as if he was bred for this... At least I think it was a he. The voice was somewhat on the deep side, but he or she just got progressively angrier as we tried to question its gender. We're making efforts to extract the Totodile from the Tangrowth's entanglement, but so far the best we can do is make sure he stays healthy with intermittent long range hyper potion sprays. The Toto seems to sink gradually deeper with each passing hour. Hopefully we can get him loose, or he might just be stuck there forever. And that would be one heck of a severance package that we can't afford to pay out. Nervous system hyper-enhancement isn't as lucrative a market as you may think. ^^;

Hehe, I just was looking for what people might have submitted on Pokémon Day and I see this thinking "That's pretty much how me lil Totodile mascot Shiny would react since tickles are like his biggest weakness (aside for him being addicted to choco syrup and being scared of thunderstorms).Poor kiddo would probably get knocked out from sheer exhaustion after a while of getting tickled intensely. <X3
I read Alan and automatically think of Shiny's frien Alan aka
FurryTickling though he does use a black Totodile.
This is really fun. Would feel eager to ask if yo'd be open for a recolor of this one because you probably might not plan to receive commission requests for the same mon so short after doing this one.

So he's turquoise instead of the regular sky blue. The nicest thing I could yet imagine if you somehow would be able to add the neckerchief with the musical note because it's like his sign of recognition. ^_^

Oh, I just noticed something, Dakota. Is it just me or seems it like the left handpaw is missing a finger here. because all I count is four. Could of course be that you tried to make it look like obscuring one finger by the Tangrowth's vines is covering it but just thought I point it out to you. =3

Ah, that's supergenerous of yours. I hope such edits still have been enjoyable to you. I'm happy to share the fun always equally with others. My Totodile mascot stands for joy afterall. ^_^
I must say, when zooming into the art it's interesting to take notice of the fine details like the little red lines in the iris' of both characters. One can feel a bit of the strain on the lil Dile there. It did happen already that Shiny got tickled and tickled more by his dudes so that in the end Shiny even pretty much got knocked unconscious for a short while from sheer exhaustion. XD
Tangrowth looks a bit like he has some sort of tickle addiction going on though. Or maybe he just tends to really get into it when he hears the Totodile in his vines laugh with so loudly. Found it also interesting that the way the scene is presented one could picture somebody observing the scene closely or as if the scene is taking place in some sort of enclosed chamber. A box maybe?
I tend to let my imagination run wild when watching at scenes like what could go on next. For example what could happen could be both of them getting too tired to continue and falling asleep, Tangrowth forming their bines like some sort of blanket or their arms wrapping around the Totodile as both are asleep, the tears and salivadrops of Totodile slowly evaporating as the both became friends there. X3

But yeah, I mean, you put a lot of time and effort in this and so you deserve a proper feedback in return. It's also a lot of fun to share. =D
Speaking of which, I really find that part in your version of the story fun that goes like that The Totodile is slowly getting either more covered in vines aka sinking. I always pretty much enjoy when some situations have that feel of 'overwhelmth' to them. When situations tend to go a bit wacky ond over the top they become just even more exciting and fun.
Personally, I'd somewhat really love to see like a sequence in which it actually happens that he more and more gets seemingly drawn inside until in the end one cannot see me lil Dile from the outside but then there's a view from the inside showing the two jolly Pokémon in a lot of vines.
I could imagine that the core of Tangrowth pretty much looks like what is actually visible outside, namely like a little Sootball (you remember those lil fellas from Studio Ghibli's movies "Spirited Away" and "My Neighbour Totoro": They look much alike ). I imagine it would make a very cute art of Shiny sitting inside what looks like a small room made up out of vines where he rasts with the Sootballdude cuddling or them just giggling, looking happy about eachothers company. I am that kindsa guy who loves a cute conclusion to fantastic and funny situations. X///3
