Nope, that's how the wings look throughout the entire game, I don't believe they fold out at all.

Then how does it fly? XD Its funky looking. I like it. Looks like it could be from a jrpg.

Also that's exactly what it's from, haha. It's from a game called Solatorobo, a Japanese (english translated) RPG with anthro characters.
It's originally for the Nintendo DS but you can run it on emulators too, which is what I play it on.

i make me Thought about a 3DS Remake from Solatorobo or a Sequel that played few years later or only a few month later. i have recognize this hidden game gem before few years but never played this but this year had i luck to find a Copy in a store. it is a great game with a great story and characters. It is sad that this DLC´s was not in the Cartridge for Europe how by the USA. A Big Mistake and sad for People that play this game few years later after the NDS Server shutdown in year 2014. I belong to this group.
