A rarer car in the Subaru line. Only around 14k sold in the US, a sort of competitor for the Mitsubishi 3000/Dodge Stealth. Living smack in the middle of the Rust Belt, I've only seen a handful in real life myself. It was a very ahead-of-its-time car.
There was a small range of FWD-only ones in the US from 94-95, but they were an even less popular variant. All of them were, however, automatic. Subaru at the time had no manual trans that could withstand the EG33's torque or hp.
