I love that scene from „Ghost in the Shell” where an android’s brain was separated from the body for examination purposes. I wanted to do something like that, but not recreate the same scene, and I came up with this. These are my insectoid android characters, and this kind of surgeries, or just put out the brain isn’t a too big of a deal. As sometime happens in real life, the patient should read loud something to make sure for the doctor that everything’s fine during the process. Hope you like it!

Interesting design.
I'm working on my own world where peiple get their brains converted to inorganic form once they reach old age. While scenes like this wouldn't be nessisary, since the brains in my world are pretty much maintenence free, you would see similar in regards to maintenance of a robotic body. A person just hanging out in a comfy chair while the mechanic has their arms taken apart on the nearby bench for an overhaul, surfing the internet on their built-in wifi connection.
