where do you get your backgrounds for the squares/stripes and other cool detailing files if you dont get them from somewhere thats hella amazing

The diagonal lines are a black and white photoshop pattern I got a loooooong time ago- I rasterize the part with the diagonal pattern with the black lines and make a new layer and fill with whatever color I want, then in another layer i fill to whatever color I want.
The checker patterns I don't actually have- I honestly just google "checkers", find, and adjust- then do the same thing with the magic wand as with the diagonal lines.
