It's now been one week since the tragic event at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida (on February 14, 2018), and since then, surviving students have ventured to the state capital Tallahassee to protest about 'gun control' - a precursor to a similar march on Washington, D.C., later next month.
Naturally, Congress doesn't want to have anything to do with said protests - probably because many members are supporters of the N.R.A. (National Rifle Association). And one of the N.R.A.'s leading members is actor Charlton Heston...
That said, I'm going to try to put a 'humorous spin' on this situation, by having my alternate feline 'fursona' sport a T-shirt with an apropos joke about Heston, the N.R.A., and guns in general - from (the late, great) comedian Robin Williams - in the form of one of my latest "Front & Back" comic gags.
