OMG, EVEN MORE. :O
This is it for now. Really. No more.
The first one was a quickie, really. I could've done a little better, but it seems everyone who saw it absolutely loved it. It's once again going along with Burning Man's theme, "Evolution." It was a spur-of-the-moment idea. The last symbol, the Burning Man symbol, is actually an older version (turns out his head is actually a different diamond-shaped version now), but it was already inked in by the time I figured that out.
I actually like it. :) Especially the "Burning Monkey" idea, at the beginning of the bookmarks. XD
I should've made copies. Something tells me a lot of people are going to want that one at the Burning Man festival.
(BTW, I used a metallic copper, bronze and gold for some of the heads, but unfortunately the scanner doesn't pick up the metallic shininess).
The last two were actually based off some old drawings I made back in '04. I couldn't think of any other ideas, so I just looked into my old artpads and found these two (they were just headshots too). I got a comment from someone at work that they look like dragons you'd see in a kid's book. ^.-.^ Awesome comment.

Again with the unorthodox dragon positioning ! The real eye-catcher here, however, is that iridescent specimen down there. My, just tracing its length back and forth is a visually rewarding experience - I'm pretty sure it can be a distraction from whatever boring read it might wind up inside of 8D The eye of that dragon is very neatly rendered, too, I like it. Yay for shy and subtle flickers of flame !
It's funny that the last two dragon bookmarks were actually inspired from old headshot (bust, whatever you want to call it) drawings back in '04. :P I started to run out of ideas, so I looked through one of my many, MANY old artpads, and found those two.
I ALMOST got rid of the idea of the flame in the rainbow-coloured dragon. It looked horribly flat and 2-D. But I thought maybe someone will find it cute, so I left it. I had to remind myself that these are not meant for me, they're for someone else. :P
