Aplomado falcons are absolutely beautiful birds, and I haven't painted one before! This particular falcon is much bluer than its naturalistic relatives but that's the fun of watercolor :D

I know it's just a repeat but that's one pretty looking Aplomado. The warm browns and blue-greys really mix well together, especially for a grassland and marsh dweller like the Aplos.
