I downloaded the 30 day trial of Mudbox this morning, (because there is no mac trail for zbrush). I spent most of the day playing around with it and trying to learn my way around the application.
I decided to make a bust of Rhelx, my character just to see I could. For the most part it was pretty awesome, but adding his horns as well as his ear spike things was a rely pain because Mudbox has no way of adjusting the mesh-flow of objects.
I think it would be a great app to use in combination with something like Maya or Max, where you can use those to set up a good mesh-flow before starting your detailed sculpting in mudbox.
So his is my first creation with the program. And I just noticed I did his nostrils backwards... oh well.

I don't know, I only have a 30 day trail copy of it now and I don't think it's rely worth buying unless I have another 3D app to use with it. If I can get a crack of it then I probably would.
And the nostril thing, they need to be flipped horizontally, That little flap part that makes it L shaped should be towards the center of his face... I think.
