Well so far I've posted all kinds of different lives that fire trucks have gone on to after retiring. So here we have a 1940's surplus Willy's that a local FD received after the 1947 forest fires that ravaged a large portion of Maine. The only thing is this rig isn't retired it's been upgraded with some LED warning lights and custom fitted poly tank that was made by Triple M manufacturing in Southern Maine.

I agree.... This is in the same size category as a UTV and way more road legal.
I know jeep fire trucks are no where as common as they used to be.... But if you do some poking around the webs.... There are pictures of a lot still in operation and even some brand new ones.
