I don't know how, in the long run of not drawing guns I've had, I ended up having three commissions in quick succession that involved me drawing guns, much less two that specifically involve drawing flintlock pistols XD
Anyway, the fluidity of this pose was something fun to work with. The hair, especially, was a very anime-esque design for me to work with so I tried to make it as my-style as I could stile still keeping all the different tufts of hair separate and easy to recognize.
Fun either way.
